Video transcript
The walkthrough uses demo players and a sample match.
Two ways to score
A game with friends can be more than a final score. Pickleball Scorer gives you two ways to keep it: simple when you want speed, and advanced when you want the story behind the points.
Set up your match
Choose singles or doubles, add your buddies, name the teams, and set your match rules. For this demo, it's Dinks and Drives against Kitchen Crew: eleven points, win by two.
Simple scoring
Playing casually? Use simple scoring. Enter the final scores, save the match, and finish, or keep the same teams for another game. It's the quick option when everyone is keeping score on court.
Simple vs advanced
Simple mode records the result. Advanced mode adds point by point contributions, serving positions, and match stats. Choose the level of detail that fits your group.
Point by point scoring
In advanced mode, record who won the rally. The app updates the score, the server, and the court positions. In doubles, the score call also shows the server number.
Serve faults and undo
A serve fault changes the serve without adding a point. If you enter the wrong rally, use undo, check the restored score, and continue.
Detailed tracking options
Want more detail? Open the gear and choose what to track: shot type, error type, or rally length. Turn on only what your scorer wants to record.
Tag shots, errors and rallies
After a rally, tag the winning shot, the error, or the length of the exchange. A drive. A dink. A long battle at the kitchen. These details come from your entries.
Save the result
Eleven, eight. Game complete. The result is saved, with Dinks and Drives taking the win. Review the match, then choose a rematch when your buddies are ready for another round.
Detailed match statistics
Open the match details to explore a player's playing style. See which tagged shots won points, which errors lost them, and how long those rallies lasted. The numbers reflect the points you recorded.
Pick your scoring mode
Want a quick record of an evening with friends? Choose simple. Want to understand the match and track your contributions? Choose advanced. Either way, your next game has a place to live.
