I'm the creator of PickleballScorer – a one-person team with a passion for pickleball and technology. Like many of you, I fell in love with this incredible sport that brings together people of all ages and skill levels.
As a tech-savvy player in my thirties, I found myself struggling to effectively track my progress and skill development. But I also noticed that tournament organizers and club managers faced similar challenges in managing events and communities. What started as a personal project has evolved into a comprehensive platform serving both players and organizers.
As my love for pickleball grew, so did my desire to improve and connect with the community. But I quickly realized there was no effective way to track personal progress or manage tournaments efficiently. The available solutions were either too complicated, too expensive, or filled with ads.
Being a hobbyist developer, I decided to create something that would serve both individual players wanting to track their games and organizers needing powerful tournament management tools. Most importantly, I wanted to keep it completely ad-free for everyone.

One thing I'm particularly proud of is keeping PickleballScorer completely ad-free for all users. Even our free tier doesn't show ads. I believe that sports apps should enhance your experience, not distract from it with advertisements. Revenue comes from optional pro memberships for serious players and organizer plans for tournament management – never from ads.
