Video transcript

The walkthrough uses demo players and a sample tournament.

The whole tournament

A great tournament feels effortless to the players. Behind it, every registration, every court, and every point has to connect. This is Pickleball Scorer Tournament Studio. Let's take an event from the first entry to the final point.

01 / create

Start on the organizer website. Add your tournament name, dates, venue, and registration deadline. Set the entry fee, rules, prizes, and check-in time. These details become the information your players see.

01 / create

Choose your format, then your build mode. Auto bracket generates the draw for you. Tournament Studio gives you a visual canvas for custom stages and advancement rules.

02 / organize

Create your categories, review registrations, and confirm the field. For this Ahmedabad demo, the singles category has fifty players. On tournament morning, check players in from the same list.

03 / build the draw

Generate the draw with rating-based seeding and automatic pools. Fifty singles players become ten pools of five. Each player gets four matches. That's one hundred matches, organized into a draw you can inspect and adjust.

03 / tournament studio

Open Tournament Studio to see the structure on a visual canvas. Inspect each stage, organize your participants, and connect advancement rules when your event moves from one stage into another.

04 / plan the day

Now plan the time. The duration planner uses your match count, available courts, and expected match length. Change the assumptions and compare the estimates before you commit to a schedule. More courts can mean a shorter day.

04 / plan the day

Name your courts and mark which ones are active. Auto-schedule assigns matches to courts and start times, with player rest and match dependencies in mind. Run the conflict check, then adjust any slot that needs attention.

05 / share

Publish when you're ready. Share the tournament page so players and spectators can find the draw, standings, and schedule. The public page opens in a browser. Players can also follow the event in the mobile app.

06 / match day

On mobile, open the tournament and switch to Schedule. See the round, opponents, court, and start time. Use Mine only to narrow the categories to those you've joined. Refresh to see the latest match status and scores.

06 / match day

At the organizer's Court Desk, see which courts are free, which matches are underway, and who's waiting. Call the next ready match. With auto-assign enabled, the next eligible match can be called when a court becomes available.

07 / score on court

Let's follow a doubles scoring example. The organizer or assigned scorer opens the match. Players can score too, when self-scoring is enabled for their match. The active-scorer indicator shows who holds scoring control.

07 / score on court

In full scoring, the court view shows player positions and the server. Record the rally using the appropriate player control. The score, serve, and positions respond as the game progresses. The doubles score call includes the server number.

07 / score on court

Made a mistake? Undo the last point and correct it. If detailed tracking is enabled, you can also tag the shot, error, or rally length. For divisions using simple scoring, enter the game scores and submit them instead.

08 / the result

Now it's match point. Record the final rally and confirm the result. In this example, eleven eight closes the game. The completed match becomes part of the tournament record.

08 / advance

What happens next depends on the format. Pool results update the standings. In a knockout bracket, the winner advances into the next round. Here, our winning doubles team moves into the semifinal. The result connects back to the tournament.

09 / stay in control

Back at the desk, keep entry payments and expenses together in Finance. Use Announcements for tournament updates. Planning, match-day operations, and the event's finances stay in the same workspace.
